Key Chapter Checklist
To be eligible for Key Chapter status, a Chapter must complete all of the CORE ESSENTIALS, at least 4 of the CHAPTER ENGAGEMENT, and at least 3 of the OUTREACH events.
Core Essentials
- Submit Annual Report by 30 September
- Induction Report
- Officer Report
- Create or Update Chapter Page
- Submit Chapter Activity Reports (minimum of 4 must be submitted for activities. Examples include Chapter meetings, officer meetings, induction ceremony, tutoring, community service event, etc)
- Vote in the Board of Governors Election
Chapter Engagement
- Student Leadership Conference
- HKN TechX
- Pathways to Industry
- Founders Day
- Submit Chapter Story or Best Practice for publication in The Bridge
- Nominations for IEEE-HKN Awards
- Participate in Monthly Chapter Leaders’ Meetings (minimum of three)
- Apply for a Chapter Support Grant
