The IEEE-HKN Student Chapter Support Fund has been established to create and enhance the resources, training, and programs every Chapter needs to be a strong, well-supported Chapter. John McDonald, Beta Chapter, and his wife, Jo-Ann, provided the first gift in support of this dedicated Fund that provides HKN the mechanism to begin a Chapter Grant program and a supplemental Chapter coaching program.

Active University Chapters in good standing can apply for one grant in the amount of US$250 at a time.  The objective of this program is to support your Chapter as you create and implement activities such as community service, academic support, or Chapter-building activities.  Grant applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and funds will be remitted during the month following approval of the application by the IEEE-HKN Chapter and Ritual Committee.

  • Supplies for community service or academic support events
  • Supplies for chapter community-building events
  • Activities involving multiple IEEE-HKN Chapters

  • Space/table rental

Activities or Projects Unlikely to be Funded:
