HKN had a busy weekend at IEEE SoutheastCon last month!
At our first Professional Induction of the year, we welcomed three new Professional Members to the Eta Chapter. Congratulations to Brian Page, Dr. Masood Ejaz, and Professor Arup Kumar Ghosh for undertaking the oath of HKN’s Scholarship, Character, and Attitude to continue to be displayed in their professional careers.
We had an energizing Alumni Reception that brought together HKN members of all ages to reconnect, network, and enjoy some cake as we celebrate the upcoming 120th HKN Anniversary.
Congratulations to Alireza Marefat, winner of the IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu SoutheastCon 2024 Best Student Paper Award! The award carries a US$500 prize.
