On 28 October 2021, HKN marks its 117th Anniversary, and we have so much to celebrate!
Over the last few years, IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu has been growing and expanding. We have added new members and have installed new or reactivated dormant Chapters. We have expanded programming for undergraduate students, including resources for remote training, a podcast about key components of HKN membership, and professional development opportunities. We have created a webinar series and new communication pieces for our Graduate Student Members to assist them in the transition to advanced studies. A podcast for young alumni will debut this fall, and our social media and direct communications to all members has grown by leaps and bounds.
In addition, many HKN alumni have reconnected with the honor society over the past year by mentoring our Student Members; participating in our career development programming; volunteering on a committee; contributing to our publications, and giving their financial support. All this growth and connection have happened amidst the turmoil of COVID-19. And we think that’s a story that needs to be told.
Will you help us tell it?
