Network, reconnect and learn about trends and the latest technology in our industry during the first-ever IEEE-HKN Experience. This 11-day, online event begins on Founders Day, 28 October, and you don’t want to miss any part of it!

Find out what Bob Metcalfe, the inventor of Ethernet, is working on now as he speaks with Karen Panetta, 2019 IEEE-HKN President and founder of Nerd Girls, in a live interview on 28 October. You will get the chance to ask him questions.

An Awards Ceremony will honor the recipients of the 2020 IEEE-HKN Awards:

IEEE-HKN Asad M. Madni Outstanding Technical Achievement and Excellence Award to Dr. Ming Hsieh, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Fulgent Genetics, Inc. and Fulgent Pharma: “For innovations in and commercialization of biometric identification systems and transformational contributions to modern engineering education.”

IEEE-HKN Distinguished Service Award to Dr. Bruce Eisenstein, Arthur J. Rowland Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Drexel University: “For exemplary volunteer service to the IEEE-HKN organization and its professional community.”

C. Holmes MacDonald Outstanding Teaching Award to Jennifer Marley, Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Indiana: “For her excellence as a teacher, her contributions to the scholarship of teaching, and her mentoring of undergraduate research students.”

The 2018-2019 Outstanding Chapter Award winners also will be celebrated, and a keynote address will be given by Eminent Member Asad M. Madni, developer of the technology which is used worldwide for Electronic Stability Control and Rollover Protection in passenger vehicles.

Multiple sessions will be held each day. Come for one, come for all. It’s all online and free to you.
