Beginning 16 August 2023, IEEE will increase student dues for the 2024 renewal year. This will affect the one-time HKN induction fee. For the past three years, HKN students were able to take advantage of half price IEEE student dues. The 2023 induction fee was US$62. We collected US$16 (for 1 year of IEEE student membership) plus the one-time HKN induction fee of US$46.
For all inductions on or after 16 August 2023, HKN will collect a total of US$78. Please note: HKN’s 2024 induction fee has not increased.
**It is imperative that your Chapters report all previously-held inductions now to avoid the dues increase from IEEE.
