Eta Kappa Nu (HKN), Zeta Chi Chapter, is the Electrical and Computer Engineering Honor Society at the University of Central Florida (UCF). We provide a venue for upper-division ECE honor students to meet each other, interact with the university’s faculty and the corporate world, and serve the Department, the University, and the community. Like all chapters of HKN, we are dedicated to encouraging and recognizing excellence in the fields of ECE. Our Chapter Activities provide hands-on experience, and an
academic edge to our members and attendees.

A lot of people don't realize that HKN is actually an honors society within IEEE. It's not just a prestige, but an opportunity to represent the best of IEEE, and help your peers. One of our most successful chapter activities is Finals Review Nights, for example. And once you're a member of HKN, you're a member for life! And this worldwide group of leaders, people like Steve Wozniak, Larry Page and Eric Schmidt, and Amar Bose, all notable within industry, are accessible to you!
