Texas A&M University at Qatar, Lambda Mu Chapter

Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ) is a branch of Texas A&M University located in Education City, Doha, Qatar. Our chapter is dedicated to promoting excellence to those in Electrical and Computer Engineering, who throughout their college or career, have a deep interest and have aspired to or achieved excellence in their field. With a strong emphasis on leadership, service, and scholarship, Lambda Mu has supported emerging leaders and actively engaged in community outreach. Our Lambda Mu Chapter was founded on May 2, 2012, and has inducted more than 100 members since its inception, while encouraging more to aspire to achieve academic excellence.

TAMUQ is located in Education City, which houses several branches of well-known American Universities, creating a multiversity where TAMUQ provides 4 engineering majors to our community. It is home to more than 500 engineering students that come from different walks of life, but share the same goal of becoming successful engineers.
