Chapter Statement:
To not only acknowledge and celebrate the hard work of UIC ECE students but also elevate their success. We strive to encourage our members to widen their professional networks and develop industry-applicable skills by attending workshops/seminars/panels, performing academic research, and connecting with alumni, which may lead to future internships or full-time jobs. On campus, we serve as a bridge between ECE Faculty and students to help cultivate an environment where students can interact with faculty as peers and develop meaningful mentorships.

what chapter members are saying

Eta Kappa Nu has played a very significant role in my undergraduate studies. Being the president of IEEE-HKN-Iota Lambda, I got to grow out of my comfort zone and lead a whole chapter amidst a pandemic. As a result, I have developed skills that are necessary to lead in multiple contexts outside of school. I was happy make an impact and help other students through my leadership. It has been a very valuable and rewarding experience for me.
