IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu installed three new chapters — our first two Chapters in Spain and another chapter in Florida — since July, and will add a fourth new Chapter in the coming months.
During an online Installation Ceremony on 17 July 2020, the Universidad Nacional De Educación A Distancia (UNED) inducted 23 students and 11 faculty as charter members of the Nu Alpha Chapter, and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) inducted 20 students and one faculty member as charter members of the Nu Beta Chapter.
On 3 September 2020, Florida Polytechnic University inducted 10 charter members of the Mu Omega Chapter.
The IEEE-HKN Board of Governors recently approved the petition of The College of New Jersey to form a Chapter. The Nu Gamma Chapter will become the 266th HKN Chapter when it is installed.
