Rice University, Theta Rho Chapter

Members of the Theta Rho chapter at Rice University collaborate with the student members of the Rice Student Branch of IEEE. They are dedicated to connecting Electrical and Computer Engineering students with academic and social opportunities in the ECE Department at Rice, the larger IEEE organization, and industry. Members provide academic advice to fellow students by hosting academic and industry presentation, Q&A sessions at advising luncheons, and facilitating conversation between students and the ECE Department by hosting Town Hall meetings with faculty and students.

It is a special honor to be selected and recognized as a member of Eta Kappa Nu at Rice University. The top one-fourth of juniors, the top one-third of seniors and select graduate students in Electrical and Computer Engineering are nominated for selection to Eta Kappa Nu through the Theta Rho chapter each spring.The Theta Rho chapter was founded on January 3, 1981.
