University of Utah, Gamma Sigma Chapter

The Gamma Sigma chapter of IEEE-HKN is a community of students who share a keen interest in electrical engineering and technology. Members of the Gamma Sigma chapter get the opportunity to organize events, offer mentorship to fellow students, and engage directly with the local community. Being a member of the IEEE-HKN Gamma Sigma chapter is a unique chance for engineering students to gain valuable experience, network with industry professionals, and enhance their overall resumes.

In the fall of 2023, the Gamma Sigma chapter proudly marked a significant milestone with its official reactivation. This resurgence was driven by a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm among students passionate about engineering and technology. Since then, the chapter has experienced remarkable growth, quickly evolving into a vibrant and dynamic community.
