Rutgers University, Gamma Epsilon Chapter
Since its establishment on June 3, 1950, in Piscataway, NJ, part of the vibrant Princeton/Central Jersey area, the Gamma Epsilon chapter of Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) has been dedicated to upholding the values of excellence, service, and leadership in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering. As part of Region 1: Northeastern USA, we pride ourselves on being a beacon of knowledge and community engagement at Rutgers University.
Over the years, Gamma Epsilon has significantly grown in numbers and influence, reflecting our active commitment to the Rutgers community and beyond. With a strong focus on tutoring, service, and outreach, our chapter has not only promoted the fundamental values of HKN but also fostered a deep interest in Electrical and Computer Engineering among students.
Leveraging our advantageous proximity to the global IEEE headquarters, Gamma Epsilon has been uniquely positioned to host an array of industry and research professionals. These events have greatly benefited our students, providing unparalleled exposure to real-world applications and advancements in our field. Additionally, our chapter has organized study sessions and guest lectures from distinguished faculty, further enriching the academic experience for Rutgers students.
As we continue to grow and evolve, Gamma Epsilon remains committed to serving our community, enhancing professional development, and contributing to the global network of HKN chapters.
