University of Kentucky, Beta Upsilon Chapter

The Beta Upsilon chapter of Eta Kappa Nu was chartered at the University of Kentucky on April 24th of 1948. The chapter is a growing body of the brightest minds in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the region. Beta Upsilon has been previously recognized as a key chapter for its successful practices as a student organization. Through volunteer work and active communication with alumni and local industry leaders, we seek to advance the ideals of character, attitude, and scholarship within our community.

The University of Kentucky is a leading institution of higher education, located in the heart of the Bluegrass state, Lexington, Kentucky. The region is known famously for its equestrian culture, with Lexington nicknamed the horse capital of the world. Equally as influential are the vast number of Kentucky distilleries, making it the leader in bourbon production worldwide. Lexington has historic roots in college athletics such as Wildcats basketball, in addition to the many Olympic athletes that have come out of UK, rounding out its influence as a popular tourism destination and college town. The Beta Upsilon chapter serves to interact with the best and brightest minds in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Lexington, KY area and beyond.
