On Tuesday, 7 May 2024, Regions 5 & 6 Governor, Colleen Bailey installed HKN’s newest Chapter at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. We extend our heartiest congratulations to all those involved in the effort of starting Mu Upsilon Chapter.
The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science faculty and students honor their late colleague, professor, and mentor, Dr. William (Bill) Stapleton, as they bring HKN into their community. Dr. Stapleton was inducted into HKN’s Delta Nu Chapter at The University of Alabama and was a second-generation EE faculty member. His father, also William Stapleton, was one of Delta Nu Chapter’s founding members in 1962.
Eight students and one professional, as the Charter members of Mu Upsilon Chapter, are making Dr. Stapleton’s vision of bringing HKN to Texas State University a reality and we hope you will join us in welcoming them into the HKN community!
