IEEE-HKN invites your Chapter to participate in our latest video competition:  “Year in Review” 

Deadline to enter is 16 May 2021

Show us what Chapter has done and accomplished during the 2020-2021 academic year (1 July 2020 – Present)! Be creative and have fun! Post your video to your Chapter’s social media channels with #CelebrateHKN so the entire HKN community can celebrate your strength, creativity, growth, and successes!

This is a Chapter Video submission contest: Each chapter is eligible to enter ONE video (1 to 3 minutes long). Please read the rules carefully before entering.

Participating Chapters get $25 of HKN store credit. The winning video, chosen by IEEE-HKN members worldwide via a poll on HKN’s Social Media channels, will receive an additional $100 HKN store credit. A montage of all video submissions will be played during the IEEE-HKN Online Graduation Celebration to be held on 5 June.

Contest Rules:

  1. The theme of the video should be “Year in Review.” Be creative: Show us what your chapter has done and accomplished during this academic year (1 July 2020 – Present).
  2. You must have the consent of all people appearing in the video so that it can be shared via social media, during the 2021 IEEE-HKN Graduation Celebration, and in other ways. 
  3. Video should be 1 to 3 minutes in length. 
  4. Post the video on your Chapter’s social media channels with #CelebrateHKN and tag IEEE-HKN. 
  5. Submit an MP4 with our online form by 16 May 2021 to be eligible for prizing. Late video submissions will not be accepted.
  6. Videos will be viewed by the IEEE-HKN PR and Communications Committee, which will determine eligibility. 
  7. All eligible submissions will be reshared on IEEE-HKN’s social media channels and be posted to the HKN.org website.
