IEEE-HKN is pleased to announce that it has received two 2025 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence marking our 12th consecutive year of being recognized for its publication, THE BRIDGE. Jason Hui, Editor-In-Chief and Hulya Kirkici, Guest Editor won in
the category of Writing/Type of Media—Writing Series for THE BRIDGE, Issue 3, Volume 120, “Building Semiconductor Resilience.” Current BRIDGE Editor-in-Chief, Burton Dicht also won for his “History Spotlight” feature in the category of Writing/Type of Media—Regular Departments and Columns for all three 2024 BRIDGE issues. The “History Spotlight” feature gives the historical context for the theme of each issue of THE BRIDGE highlighting the advancement of its technology. Congratulations to all the winners and the entire BRIDGE Editorial Board who consistently produces a quality magazine!
Congratulation also to Dr. Karen Panetta, 2019 IEEE-HKN President, who was also recognized with an Apex Award of Excellence in the Writing/Type of Media–Writing Series Category for “Women to Watch,” IEEE Women in Engineering Magazine.
