Queretaro is one of the thirty-one states that, together with Mexico City, form the United Mexican States. Its capital and the most populous city is Santiago de Querétaro. It is located in the Centro Norte region of the country limiting to the north with Guanajuato and San Luis Potosi, to the south with Hidalgo and Estado de México and to the west with Michoacán. Queretaro has distinguished itself in recent years for being one of the two states in the country with the greatest dynamics of economic growth, since 1994 to date it has maintained a greater growth than the national one, this is because national and transnational companies of the industrial sectors, commercial and services have settled in the state.
