Hofstra University, Lambda Xi Chapter

The Lambda Xi chapter at Hofstra University encompasses the best and brightest of the DeMatteis School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Our chapter seeks to promote the academic well-being of our students while preparing them for a career in STEM and giving back to our community, through volunteer opportunities at local high schools and cooperative events with other Long Island chapters.

The members of IEEE at Hofstra University benefit from living in a suburban area surrounding a major metropolitan center. Our location allows students to form tight-knit bonds within small class sizes while reaping all the benefits of being close to engineering giants in a variety of fields.
