Baylor University, Kappa Tau Chapter

Our purpose is best stated in the words of the preamble of our constitution:
“That those persons in the profession of electrical and computer engineering who by their attainments in college or in practice, have manifested a deep interest and marked ability in their chosen life work, may be brought into close union hereby mutual benefit may be derived.”
We aim to support members and non-members alike, as well as to improve the standards of our profession and courses. Our belief in Eta Kappa Nu’s high ideals as requisites for success in the profession of electrical and computer engineering and for happiness in one’s life as a whole motivates us to invest our time and efforts in this organization.

Waco, TX

Baylor University is located on the Brazos River in Waco, TX. Waco was founded in 1849 and is located halfway between Dallas and Austin. Waco is home to Magnolia Market run by Baylor Alums Chip and Joanna Gains, the birthplace of Dr Pepper, and plenty of natural areas including the Waco Mammoth National Monument and one of the country’s largest municipal parks!
