University of Kansas, Gamma Iota

IEEE-HKN’s Gamma Iota Chapter was founded in 1952 at the University of Kansas. The chapter organizes social events including Faculty & Student Pool Night, Faculty & Student Volleyball Match, and the Welcome Back BBQ for the EECS department. Along with hosting social events that unite the engineering community, Gamma Iota hosts the annual Underclassmen Achievement Award Ceremony in order to recognize excellent achievement of EECS undergraduates, and participates in a variety of HKN events like Founders’ Day and the Student Leadership Conference.
