University of Florida, Epsilon Sigma Chapter

Our Chapter strives to nurture exceptional academic, career and involvement status among our members.

We host tutoring sessions within the CISE and ECE departments where members can attend review sessions to prepare for exams. Additionally, members can lead or assist in leading review sessions to solidify their skills in the subjects of their choice.

We bring in professors from all different areas of the ECE department to speak, which allows our members to explore all different areas of expertise and make useful connections for the future.

We conduct numerous social events every semester to bring members and candidates together as a tight-knit organization.

We host outreach events to get involved in the community and make a difference in the Gainesville area. Most of these events involve educating K-12 students about electrical and computer engineering.

what chapter members are saying

Joining HKN gave me a home away from home, and helped me grow professionally. I made friends within the organization and made contacts useful for when I enter the workforce. HKN is an organization I would join again in a heartbeat.

Daniel Wells

HKN has given me so many opportunities over the years that I don't think I'd be where I am now without it. I wanted to give back and serve as president so that I can give others the same, if not better, opportunities I had.
