University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Beta Epsilon Chapter

The Beta-Epsilon chapter of Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) is composed of the top electrical, computer, and computer science engineers at the University of Michigan. We serve our community by operating the fully student-run dB Cafe, holding community service projects around Ann Arbor, and organizing community events to encourage collaboration among the students and faculty. In addition, we collaborate with companies to speak at our meetings, as well as host tech talks for the general campus community. Lastly, we like to have fun – so we have plenty of game nights, trips to laser tag, and so much more!

what chapter members are saying

Eta Kappa Nu is a community of communities. Joining the chapter at the University of Michigan was one of the best decisions I made while in graduate school. If you're offered the opportunity to join, do it! You won' regret it!

HKN has so much to offer, whether it’s fun social activities, friends to study with, people to seek class advice from, professional networks to draw from, or just some new friends to hang out with

Josh Setnicky

HKN has provided me with many professional and personal growth opportunities. It has helped me grow so much as a student and a leader while meeting some of my closest friends.
