Eta Kappa Nu is a vibrant honor society with more than 260 chapters worldwide. Critical to the success and operation of the society is the availability of resources and support for our chapters and students. The Board of Governors and its committees are charged with guiding the honor society into the future and providing these important resources and support.
As a lifetime member of HKN, we invite you to be a part of this success!
The Membership & Chapters Committee has broad responsibility to all Eta Kappa Nu inductees and their chapters to ensure that their experience is unparalleled. The committee is responsible for every aspect of the member experience from the time prior to invitation to join a chapter through induction, and beyond. The committee’s work is as varied as climate at our host institutions and it is all meaningful.
The committee’s portfolio includes maintaining and reviewing the IEEE-HKN Induction and other rituals, the chapter officer and chapter Installation Ceremony, officer position descriptions, chapter operations materials and processes, coordinated chapter activities, and chapter reporting.
The Membership and Chapters Committee Chair, Michael Benson, is seeking current and former chapter officers, alumni, and student members to serve on this IEEE-HKN Board Level Committee.
Should you have any questions about the committee or its work, please contact Michael at email@example.com. Should you be interested in other ways of volunteering with HKN, please contact our Director, Nancy Ostin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
