University of Memphis, Kappa Lambda Chapter

The Kappa Lambda Chapter of IEEE Eta Kappa Nu was established on the 15th of December 1995 at the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. The chapter was re-established on the 20th of April in 2015 after a hiatus. The Kappa Lambda chapter is still going strong today and is looking toward the future with new members and more events.

Kappa Lambda is proud to call Memphis, Tennessee home because of its wide variety of opportunities. Companies including Medtronic, FedEx, International Paper, Southern Company, Nucor Steel, and many more are located in the area. The Memphis Zoo is one of the top rated zoos in the country. The food scene is perfect for all tastes including Gus’s fried chicken, Central Barbeque, Dyer’s Burgers, and Gibson’s Donuts. The city is also famous for the influential strains of blues, soul and rock ‘n’ roll that originated there from Elvis Presley, B.B. King and Johnny Cash.
